Samantha and Austin’s October wedding was something straight out of the 1940’s–romantic, elegant, timeless, and very romantic. The bride, Samantha, is one of the most beautiful and unique people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She’s one of a kind! Immediately what caught my attention about her was her vintage style (you have to see her beautiful outfits, hair, and makeup on her instagram @samantha_vanwie), her kindness, and her full trust in me. Sketching out ideas and brainstorming designs with her was a joy, and you can totally see the uniqueness of her personality come out in the photos. Micaela Hall of Whatever is Lovely Photography captured their October 1st wedding day beautifully!

One of my favorite design details from the day (besides her bouquet), was the ceremony installation. Samantha made the structure, and then I came after her and added the greens and blooms. Together–magic! Can you believe she made this backdrop using tea bags and liquid gold leaf? It was stunning.
