PLANNING | Lots of new fun projects and collaborations for this new year of blogging! I’m dreaming up big things not only for this blog, but for life in general. I’m figuring out how to navigate pursuing floral design, and other creative endeavours while continuing to teach. So maybe that’s not technically making solid plans, but it’s planning/dreaming for the future, right?
HOPING | What I wrote for planning also goes along with this one, because I do really hope that this is the year that I can really take risks and make some changes with my career. Other than that, I’m hoping and praying that this is also the year that God changes hearts, ignites fires, and brings dry bones to life. It’s been a prayer I’ve been praying for years, and maybe this year is the year.
BAKING | Pumpkin Chai Cookies. These are some of my favorite cookies, because they are so light and different from any cookie I’ve ever made. I love to make a batch on Sunday night for dessert and eat them for breakfast throughout the week. Yum!
WEARING | My new sparkly necklace from John Wind, which I’m loving! It goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe, but I especially love wearing it with my light blue chambray top. Swoon! Also, I seriously can’t stop wearing the blanket scarf I got from Target a few months ago. It goes with everything, and is so warm!
RESOLVING | I’m taking little baby steps to being more active, starting with walking! While we were in New York, we walked fifty miles..yes, 50 miles! And now Lamar, my friend Sarah (who we visited in NY) and I are doing Workweek Hustle challenges on our fitbits. I think it’s going to motivate me to walk more and stay active. We’ll see!
